ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Illustrated Nṛsiṁha Kavacha is a devotional art publication created through a shared vision of sacred remembrance, protection, and inner transformation.
Combining timeless mantra with immersive illustration and contemplative design, the project seeks to bring the living presence of the Nṛsiṁha Kavacham to modern audiences in a deeply personal and visually evocative way.
Developed over nearly three years, this offering is the result of friendship, devotion, artistic dedication, and a desire to create something that may continue to inspire courage, healing, and spiritual reflection for generations to come.
GĪTĀ NĀGARĪ
Born into the Gauḍīya Vaiṣṇava tradition through her family’s connection to the teachings of Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupāda in New York City, Gītā Nāgarī was raised within a devotional culture centered on mantra, kīrtan, healing, and spiritual practice.
Throughout her life, she has maintained a deep connection with Śrī Nṛsiṁhadeva as a source of protection, guidance, and inner strength, a relationship that would eventually inspire the vision for this book.
Her background in Reiki, healing arts, meditation, movement, and devotional practice helped shape the contemplative and experiential direction of the project. Through guided meditations and healing sessions, she began envisioning a way to bring the protective and transformative essence of the Nṛsiṁha Kavacham into a more immersive artistic form.
This book emerged from that vision and from a friendship and spiritual connection shared over many years within the Vaiṣṇava community.
RICARDO DIEGUEZ (RADHANĀTHA DĀS)
Ricardo Dieguez (Radhanātha Dās) is a visual artist and storyteller whose work bridges sacred devotion and contemporary artistic expression.
For over twenty-five years, he has walked the Vaiṣṇava path, first inspired by the teachings of Śrīla A.C. Bhaktivedānta Swami Prabhupāda and later initiated by Śrīla Bhaktivedānta Nārāyaṇa Gosvāmī Mahārāja, from whom he received the name Radhanātha Dās.
Through painting, mural work, and illustration, Ricardo approaches art as a form of prayer, an offering intended to reveal the deeper spiritual archetypes and divine qualities that continue to live within the human heart.
His illustrations for the Nṛsiṁha Kavacham seek to make the sacred tangible through form, color, atmosphere, and emotion, inviting viewers into a living experience of remembrance, courage, devotion, and inner protection.
Created over nearly three years, this body of work stands as both a devotional offering and a collaborative vision dedicated to all those seeking strength, healing, and deeper connection with the Divine.
